Many things in a student’s life can affect their ability to learn and graduate. Even the best teachers and schools cannot compensate for illness, fear or distress. The Salt Lake Education Foundation works with partners to address health and social factors that influence educational success and decrease school dropout. We collaborate with community organizations that can help remove health barriers that keep students from succeeding.
Community partnerships have the potential to meet a wide variety of needs, from improving participant recruitment and attendance to contributing volunteers or other resources to programs. The foundation works to identify valuable community resources and develop strategies for leveraging community support.
